Do You Know What % Of Your Resources You Are Using?
A new report has been added that makes it easy to see at a glance across any given month just how much of your resources are being used. By resources I mean the trainers you have on staff. The report is in the admin login area Reports > Scheduling > Club Resource Utilization. The report only takes into account the actual periods that trainers are available to work - so if a trainer is only available from 2 - 3pm on tuesdays then only that one hour is taken into account - not a full day.
This has also been added to the dayview schedule page so the use of resources over the current month selected in the dayview can be reviewed.
Why is this useful? Well being able to see at a glance how utilized the club is can indicate if you potentially need more or less trainers and which days you need them on. It also shows where opportunity lies. All of this can be figured out of course by examining the schedules - but it’s a lot quicker to see this kind of heat map for any given month.
The report can take upto 10 seconds to display - it has to crunch a lot of data to generate it.
