Trainer Scheduling Permissions

Of the four different login areas types in the ClubReady system (client, provider, admin & front desk admin) only admins and clients were able to make or change bookings. Providers (trainers) could view their schedules but not change them.

Admins obviously could do pretty much everything in terms of changing schedules and clients could change their own schedules within the boundaries of whatever rules were setup for the particular service.

The reason for this setup was if trainers were allowed to change the scheduling for the club in the same way that admins could then things could get in a mess.

The reality is though some trainers in a club (especially if the club is small) do need to make bookings, cancel or reschedule - ie there is often an overlap between training and admin. The only solution was for the trainer to have an admin login too.

We’ve made some additions to the system so exactly what each trainer can do in the scheduling system can now be defined in some detail. This gives the club the ability to give some trainers a lot of capability to make changes and others to have none.
