Making Scheduling Handle Non Bookings Better
One of our ClubReady users recently commented that some of their trainers were using outlook calendar to track their non-training appointments and it would be great if they could use only one tool to track all their appointments and have it available over the web just like their bookings are.
ClubReady gives each trainer (or provider of services) an incredible real time schedule of all their sessions but it didn’t do a really great job of being an all round calendar app. Trainers could block off periods on their calendar to stop bookings being made in a specific time period, but these were always just classified as ‘unavailable periods’
In response to this feedback, we’ve added some simple additional functionality that lets providers keep a track of anything on their schedule in addition to their bookings. Now they can add ‘unavailable periods’ that have a color & a name. In addition they can store anything they add to use it again later.

An example of a trainers schedule showng bookings but also some non booking periods that are color coded, and below the add a non booking to the schedule tool (this opens at whatever date / time is clicked on the schedule). Note the ability to store appointment types to make adding them again later a breeze.

This new functionality is simple enough but really enhances the schedule tool for trainers especially if they only have a few actual bookings a week.
