Selling More Training Packages
Selling packages of training sessions is a goal of most clubs. Typically a club will sell a package of say 10 training sessions for a discount where the client pays a lump sum up front to get the discount.
What if the club could sell multiple packages going out a year or even 18 months? Well that’d be fantastic but apart from the richest of clients, few clients would be willing to pay that far in advance in one go.
ClubReady creates opportunities in this area by allowing a club to sell a commitment to buy packages by creating additional discount levels if a client buys more than one package. The client doesn’t have to actually pay for all the packages in one go, but ClubReady lets them book all the sessions going out months in advance and then tracks when the actual payments are due.
In this example below (taken from the packages setup in ClubReady admin login area). The basic package is $900 (it’s a 12 x 60 mins personal training package) but additional discount levels have been setup. If the client agrees to buy 2 of these packages then they get each package for $864 and so on, up to a commitment to buy 12 packages (144 sessions) they get a 22% discount only having to pay $696 per package. The club admin can set up whatever package discount level they like. The client will be able to book all of those 144 sessions and each session maintains it’s expiration date as per whatever the club has set up for that service.

Now, what about paying for those packages? Well ClubReady lets the club set up whatever payment schedule they want. ClubReady will track when the payments are due. Lets look at the buy 8 packages discount level ($756 per package)

In this example - only the 1st payment is due upfront. ClubReady will then automatically create the payment due dates for all the other packages. The client can go ahead and book all the sessions within the commitment.
It’s great for the client, they get the opportunity for a discount, and get to reserve their session bookings going out months and months.
It’s great for the club because they get to sell more packages, retain high value clients longer and avoid any of the headaches that would normally be associated with managing it. Also - this doesn’t just apply to personal training packages, it applies to any packages of any mix of services a club might offer - dietician, tanning beds, massage and so on.
